Start: At Nesscliffe on the A5 between Shrewsbury and Oswestry.
Turn right opposite the Old Three Pigeons Pub along a lane and you will find a car park after about half a mile on the right. GR 386199

Walk Distance: about 5 miles. It involves a steep descent on steps down to Kynaston's Cave so should not be undertaken by anyone who is in any way infirm.

Terrain: A mixture of easy well used paths and some climbing. See note above. Excellent views.

Refreshments: The Old Three Pigeons at Nesscliffe (highly recommended)

Associated places of Interest:
1. Myddle Castle is situated at Castle Farm behind the church and is accessible by public paths, although the ruin itself is fenced off.
2. Montford Bridge - 5 miles to the south-east of Nesscliffe, also on the A5.
